Accuracy under all conditions. The Bell and Carlson™ composite stock features a textured charcoal gray matte finish for rugged good looks and improved grip in adverse conditions. The Pachmayr® Decelerator® pad helps take the felt recoil bite out of high performance magnum cartridges. The claw extractor offers Controlled Round Feeding so the cartridge may be easily withdrawn from the chamber at any point after it leaves the magazine. The cartridge feed lips are part of the receiver for improved reliability. The classic three-position safety offers both on safe and fire positions, plus a middle position that locks the firing pin yet still allows the bolt to be operated, providing a greater margin of safety when checking the chamber condition or unloading. The Extreme Weather SS’s free floating, fluted stainless barrel is made in the same factory as those found on U.S. military rifles and machine guns, and features a recessed target crown to protect the rifling. It was a favorite of the range rider who could snatch it from his saddle scabbard and fire faster than prairie lightning. The new Winchester® Model 94® Short Rifle has a compact 20" deeply-blued round barrel and a straight grip walnut stock. It has a rifle-style forearm, black grip cap and a full-length magazine. It’s drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and a hammer spur extension is included with the rifle. The sights are traditional with a semi-buckhorn rear and a Marble Arms® gold bead at the muzzle. With the new Short Rifle Model 94 there’s a lot of fun waiting in the saddle, in the field or at the range.

The new Winchester® Sporter Model 94® is a rifle ready to tickle your shooting fancy. You’ll instantly love the traditional straight grip stock with a crescent butt and blued steel buttplate. Note the 24" half-round, half-octagon blued barrel that’s reminiscent of the original rifles. The walnut stock is finely checkered in the familiar pattern with
double-lined bordering. The satin oil finish complements the blued receiver which is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The hammer is drilled and tapped for a spur extension, which is included with the rifle. The Sporter has a semi-buckhorn rear sight and a fine gold bead on the front. This model is available in 30-30 Win. or 38-55 Win.

The strong and reliable action of the Winchester® Model 1886 was designed to handle the then-new, heavier 45-70 Govt. cartridge, developed by the U.S. Government in 1873. The Model 1886 Short Rifle features a deeply-blued receiver, barrel and lever, along with a matching blued steel end cap and steel crescent buttplate. The classic straight grip Grade I walnut stock allows quick shouldering, and has an elegant satin finish. The full-length tubular steel magazine holds six 45-70 Govt. cartridges. The receiver is drilled and tapped for the addition of an optional receiver sight. A top-tang safety, adjustable rear buckhorn style sight and a gold bead Marble Arms® front sight complete the graceful profile of this historic model. Like the other historical rifle models, production is limited.
