At H&R, we offer a broad range of tack-driving rifled slug guns that can cost less than an accessory slug barrel for many repeaters. They’re unfailingly dependable, easy to carry and exceptionally accurate out to the farthest reaches of shotgun range. Our single-shot action’s strong lockup and stout build creates an inherently precise platform. But another major contributor to their ultra-tight grouping capability is the Ultragon™ Rifling. It uses six oval lands and grooves without sharp corners like traditional rifling. This system imparts stabilizing spin on your slug without distorting the sabot jacket or exterior of your slug, leading to a better gas seal, higher velocities and more consistent flight characteristics. No nonsense. Just pure deer-dropping performance.

For those intrepid spirits who venture into uncharted regions and unpredictable climates, our weather-defying Tamer® is a welcome companion. Here is a versatile, easy-to-handle shotgun with a high-density polymer stock and fore-end and matte-finish nickel receiver and barrel that can shrug off the worst that Mother Nature can hand out. The unique thumbhole/pistol grip assures you of a firm hold. The specially designed stock also enables you to store four rounds of .410 or three rounds of 20 gauge ammo. The Tamer® includes all the H&R high performance features, including automatic shell ejection, our Transfer Bar System to prevent accidental firing, and even a unique locking system for safe storage.

A scaled-down version of our original Topper, ideal for training the next generation. Available in 20 gauge and 410 bore, it has a 22" barrel that’s perfectly sized for younger shooters. Also includes a recoil pad for added shooting comfort.

Famous for their handiness in the woods and extended-range patterning ability, our Pardner Turkey Gun lineup includes a wide range of options from which to choose. In addition to our 10-gauge model, we offer 12-gauge models in camo with fixed full chokes or screw-in turkey chokes, and a 20-gauge, 22"-barreled compact model with camo-finished hardwood.

A true tack-driver, this shotgun has a 24" fully rifled Ultragon barrel crafted of heavy steel. This barrel design promotes more consistent harmonics and better long-range accuracy with today’s high-velocity slug loads. It has a walnut-stained American hardwood stock with a Monte Carlo comb that promotes rapid alignment with your crosshairs. Choose from 12- and 20-gauge versions. Scope mounts are included. And
the 12-gauge model is available with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted 3-9X scope. Compact 20 gauge has a 22" barrel. Our Deluxe version has the added weather resistance and distinctive looks of a laminated stock.

The ultimate in long-range accuracy and aiming stability. This is our top-of-the-line Ultra Slug Hunter, featuring laminated American hardwood stock with the added comfort and steadiness of a thumbhole stock design. Equipped with a 24" fully rifled barrel. Available in 12 gauge and 20 gauge.

When the going gets rough, rely on this rock-solid, go-anywhere, do everything design. Take your pick of shotgun, heavy-barreled rifle or 410 Bore/45 Colt configurations to meet any challenge. The high-density polymer stock has a thumbhole/pistol-grip design and a convenient storage compartment. Models in 410 Bore/45 Colt are available in either a blued finish or an electroless nickel finish for harsh environments – they have a fully rifled barrel, and a screw-in choke for shotgun use. Our Transfer Bar System provides an added measure of safety. Standard shotguns have a modified choke.

Our standard model that started it all. This extremely versatile shotgun has an American walnut stock, ventilated recoil pad, chrome-plated bolt and classic grooved fore-end. The vent-rib barrel has a brass bead front sight. Choose 12- or 20-gauge versions. Both accept 2 ¾" or 3" loads, are drilled and tapped for scope mounts and include a modified screw-in choke.
