Our First Post

In this post, we talk about why we've decided to incorporate a blog into our website...

Thank you so much for visiting our brand-new blog! At Triggers and Bows, we believe that our duty is so much bigger than delivering merchandise to our amazing customers; we want to equip our customers with the knowledge needed for a successful hunt or a victorious night at the range!

Each month, a new blog post will be available for you to read and learn from, as well as share with your friends and family. On top of this exciting blog, Triggers and Bows will be coordinating several hunting seminars throughout this year and in the future to help you prepare for your time in the field. We hope to bring you the newest products and ideas as they are released so you stay on top of your game.

We had our very first seminar, “The Finer Points of Turkey Hunting,” earlier this month which was very successful. The seminar was delivered by our very own Anthony Dickson (Two-Time National Turkey Calling Champion), as well as Steve and Jacquie Shore from Hitmen Canada’s Brotherhood of the Hunt TV show. Stay tuned for our upcoming seminar in the summer; the topic will cover mineral use for deer hunting.

Between this new blog and our upcoming seminars, we hope that we can provide news and up to date information for every single hunter and shooter who participates!

We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Turkey Seminar, Joe! Thanks for coming out!

Two thumbs up! Thoroughly enjoyed the Turkey Hunting seminar. Anthony provided the audience with a very comprehensive overview of the equipment, scouting, hunting tactics and calling to make your Turkey hunt a success. His Turkey hunting experience is invaluable to either the novice or seasoned hunter. And at the end, a couple free hats, which was a nice touch to the conclusion of the seminar. Looking forward for other such seminars. Would also suggest a seminar on introduction to different pistol shooting sports, example IDPA and IPSC and “The Finer Points of Deer Hunting”.
