CFSC – Canadian Firearms Safety Course
Triggers and Bows is happy to offer the CFSC to anyone who wants to obtain their Possession and Acquisition License (P.A.L.) for hunting, recreational or competitive shooting.
The PAL is acquired by attending an all-day course on storing, maintaining, handling, and moving firearms. You will learn the following:
- How to handle firearms and ammunition safely
- How to use firearms and ammunition safely
- How to comply with firearm laws
- How to store non-restricted firearms and ammunition safely
- How to display non-restricted firearms safely
- How to transport non-restricted firearms safely
- If you are attending and under the age of 18, you MUST bring a parent with you at the start of the class to authorize you to attend and sign paperwork
- Class starts promptly at 8am and you must be there and seated before that
- Any rewrites need to attend at 4pm the day they are rewriting a test

CRFSC – Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course
The CRFSC is available to those who have already completed the CFSC. Completing and passing the CRFSC gives any P.A.L. holder the ability to purchased restricted firearms. Topics covered in the CRFSC include:
- The evolution of firearms
- Major firearm parts
- The firing sequence
- Types of firearms
- Legal responsibilities
- Basic firearm safety
- Ammunition
- Operating handgun actions
- Firing techniques and procedures
- Care of restricted firearms
- Social responsibilities of the firearms owner
- Safe storage, display, transportation, and handling of restricted firearms
*Savings are available if you have completed the CFSC within 30 days with the same instructor

Tactix Fundamentals Courses

Tactix Effective Marksmanship Fundamentals courses follow a simple & easily repeatable experience focusing on economy of movement.
Course Outline
Develop confidence and skills with the safe & efficient use of your firearm.
Learn to maximize efficiency when manipulating the firearm which in turn improves accuracy and the overall learning and shooting experience.
